I don't think Abe Lincoln would agree with you.

That's kind of an odd example to use, since Benedict Arnold worked against the secessionists of the time and in favor of the status quo.

Benedict Arnold because his name is synonymous with traitorous conduct. Supporting the Revolutionary cause then back stabbing the very people he was fighting for.

If you really want to pursue secession, you'll have to invest just a little bit more than simply filling in a web form. Question is, are you really willing to do that?
Then so be it. Yes I am more than willing to do that. Are you?

This kind of stupidity just gets ignored...easier than trying to talk any sense into some folks.

So what about counties within Texas that wish to remain part of the United States? Shouldn't they have the right to do so, or would you force them to remain in Texas against their will?

See where this kind of thing could get a little messy?

If he'd lost the war, George Washington's name would now be synonymous with traitorous conduct.

Please secede, now. Your southern states are a drain on our country's resources.

This all sounds very familiar.

Southern folks having a tantrum.

United States presidential election, 1860 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

It will turn out the same way if this goes anywhere. My suggestion is to suck it up.
