Actually, we are at a point where the republican party has attempted to coopt the Christian faith and brand it as a GOP owned and operated affiliate, while steadfastly refusing to follow the teachings of the Christ they claim to follow. Christ was a rabbi, a teacher, a healer, and a pacifist. He never took pay for any of the acts He performed, and in fact preached against the accumulation of wealth and lived on the charity of others. He was buried in a donated tomb, and the first person who saw him after the Resurrection was an ex-prostitute. He would be probably be considered a socialist if he was preaching currently. He decidedly would not be a republican.

I agree. Christians were bought hook, line, and sinker by the GOP line. Christians did not project these views on the GOP, it was the other way around. Nowadays, if you don't believe in the unlimited accumulation of wealth, free trade, and anti-labor unions you're not a good Christian in the eyes of Rush Limbaugh.
I pretty much agree with you and I don't think Abortion should even be an issue when it comes to voting, the politicans should leave it alone and none of us should vote based on certain social issues. I feel the same about same sex marriage, how I feel about it and whethre it belongs in the platform are 2 different things. We were discussing this last night after dinner. our 29 year old grandson in law, mentioned, as Republicans, we have to get away from evangelicals speaking for the party. I might add, he and our granddaughter, go to a non demoninational church but it is pretty fundamentalist...On the other hand, our 26 year old younger granddaughter who is a agnostic believes these issues should be part of the voting platform: she is pro life and anti gay marriage: go figure!!!!!
Technically, your granddaughter is closer to the reality where religiosity and right wing are virtually inseparable. This applies to right wing in ANY country, at any time and with any religion dominating the scene. It simply boils down to the make up of what is "right wing".

Anti-Christ means anything to do with Christianity is considered wrong and the belief that God controls the weather is unacceptable to them. God set up natural laws regarding climate. It is also written in the last days their will be many natural disasters regarding weather, and this is also an attack to make the Republican party evil. The far left are blazing away with their bias hate against anything that is in their way of bringing about socialism and giving more power to the federal government.
The balance of power has shifted dramatically as the bias far left media program the masses into thinking that the way to go is big Federal Government and blasting the Republicans any chance they get. The spin is so far left leaning , if you were a democrat you are now a socialist thinking left winger. God and his prophets and anyone who is Christian will be blasted by the far left.

If you were a Rabbi you would NOT BE TYPING POSTS ON THE INTERNET on Erev Shabbos. All Rabbis must be Shomer Shabbat ... something you obviously are not.
All the Rabbis I know, spell correctly, use proper grammar and syntax and know how to punctuate correctly.
Most Jews and every Rabbi I know uses "G-d" for HaShem.
The vocabulary you use has suspiciously Christian "code" words.
The Rabbi of the synagogue up the street from my house, Congregation Kol Tzedek, will happily marry same sex couples. Okay, not all the Rabbis in the world will marry gay couples, but I have never heard of a Rabbi disrespecting LGBT people in general. Even the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Reb Menachem Schneerson graciously granted an audience to a group of LGBT Jews from Congregation Beth Simchat Torah.
On the other hand, I will concede that not all Rabbis are wise or compassionate ... there are some meshuguna Rabbis out there.

God judges the heart. And Rabbi Dave does not put the traditions of man before the traditions of God. Rabbi Dave puts the traditions of God first as it is meant to be. Jesus has set us free of the law of man.
