He didn`t know the flight #`s of the planes so he just ignored it. Good grief.
How ridiculous. He not only didn't know the flight numbers, he didn't know what day, what time, what city/airport, or even IF it was a credible threat. As I said, there was nothing specific to go on.
Have we learned nothing from Watergate? It's not the crime but the coverup. Patreaus is contradicting where Rice claimed she got her intel from. Thus someone fed her incorrect and misleading talking points not from the CIA. My guess is it was from the Axlerod wing of the administration.
Impeachment is for "high crimes and misdemeanors", not "coverups".
Nixon's coverup of the Watergate break-in involved abuse of authority, payment of hush money, firing the special prosecutor, and obstruction of justice, not just saying "I am not a crook".
I think we're slowly moving in that direction. It appears winning re-election was far more important than being up front with the American people. It's a shame the American people voted incorrectly last week now we'll be treated to the further diminishing of the office of the Presidency.

No, he will not be forced to resign. There is no smoking gun present in General Petraeus' testimony that would lead anyone with common sense to believe that there was anything criminal in the President's actions..
