Irrelevant.. however, the bad intelligence got us in to a war that might not have had to be fought. Where was the right wing calling for investigations and impeachment then?
It's completely relevant. The US invaded Iraq illegally.
Look .. when people like you impugn "Fox News", you just show how clueless you are, because you're insinuating that the other news networks are somehow truthful. But I got a news flash for you ... more often than not, whatever the "official story" is about anything ... you can bet it's a lie, and often the EXACT OPPOSITE of the truth, regardless of who reports it. The reality is, you have the same left-right nonsense being fed you at multiple levels, and the exact same "biased" reporting from MSNBC. You think they are telling the truth?
The "criminal act" is buried in the details that are being covered up by this phony baloney nonsense about whether or not the killings were a result of a film causing an infuriated mob attack versus a so-called "terrorist attack". The issues are many, including the lack of security; the refusal to provide adequate levels when requested, compounded by a refusal to respond to urgent requests for help as the attack was occurring. And just as important would be the "why", which will never be uncovered by debating minutia.
There is something very sinister at play here, relative to this ambassador OR the Turkish official he was meeting, or the activities of this consulate office and the CIA annex. And it's all too obvious that this BS story of an anti-Islam film being the cause of the attack was purely a fictional cover story. And if it was a cover story, then the most rational conclusion is that this film was not a coincidence, nor the attack unexpected, and therefore, all of the details of this event are fabricated nonsense.
Okay, so there so the US embassy was really a CIA operation that came under attack by terrorists, and the government didn't come out and say that immediately.
Again, what are we impeaching the President about here? The CIA lies all the time. That's the business they're in. I don't think we should be there in the first place.
What exactly is the President guilty of here? Even if the story about what happened was from the top, is it an impeachable offense to say that a CIA operation was attacked by terrorists as opposed to an embassy was attacked in a riot?
And again, from previous posters, "the President let them die..." where is this garbage coming from?
My favorite story? John McCain calling a press conference to complain that he's getting no information about Libya. He was at the press conference whining about not getting details, meanwhile missing a meeting he was supposed to be at where they were going to update him on details regarding Libya. As it was a two hour meeting, it must have been important and I'm sure he probably would have gotten a lot of answers to any questions he might have. When a reporter asked him about this, he shot back that he was a US Senator. Duh! A pretty frickin' dumb one at that.
But no...................it made him look ever so much more important to go on national television and, in the end, look like a total jackalope.
How come nobody is talking about the 30 Americans that were rescued that day? Does it get in the way of your "Obama let them die!" narrative?
Oh, the RWNJs have got this covered. As one loser on another thread here informed me, those Americans were rescued IN SPITE of Obama. (His words, not mine.) See, the president didn't want them to be rescued, but he couldn't stop them from being rescued. Yeah, they really are that stupid.
