Nothing like it.
The Vietnam War Moratorium march drew 600,000 demonstrators on November, 15, 1969. (And that was just D.C. There were thousands of people marching across the country.)

Then there's Dr. King's "I have a dream speech" which drew 600,000 to the Mall in Washington, D.C.. In 1963.

Over 65 million people in France and only 100,000 protest? After the Pope himself called for protests. Amateurs.

Uh....

1) Catholicism is big in France
2) The French have a tendency to take to the streets and protest, so this doesn't surprise me.

The U.S. population at that time was over three times the current population of France.

And in France it's not necessary for a partner in a commited relatiuonship to marry in order to be covered by the working partner's health insurance.

And let us remember they were in the 60's when demonstrating meant there was a huge probability the marcher would get clubbed, arrested, sprayed with a fire hose or hit with tear gas. Or shot. (Kent State and Jackson State.)

These French marchers faced....... counter-demonstrators who were..... topless!!

I remain unimpressed.

Yes - losing their jobs, or at least making a serious career-limiting move. Corporate America is almost entirely in the grip of politically correct fanaticism.

The Nazi's were socialist as well.

Oh no - now someone will invoke Godwins's Law. I'm scared!
