What constitutes him as a "real" American? According to the McCain/Palin ticket he was. Was he born in the US? Probably so but that campaign was all about who was the "real" American and no regard to millions of others in this country that they deemed insignificant. Sound familiar? That clearly doesn't work.

No, I just hated the way the campaign was disingenuous by parading him around to pander to their base like this is their vision of a real American. It was almost like the insulting "last ditch" effort Paul Ryan made at the soup kitchen. I know you can't please everyone but it was such a bogus attempt in my opinion. It didn't seem genuine.
