Confirmed: Republicans are bound and determined to take absolutely no useful lessons from their defeat this year.

On the other hand the election could have been a repudiation of vial GOP policy and platform?

Naw, couldn't be.

Okay, here's why this is a crock:
* No media outlets were named, so we don't know where the data came from.
* We don't know how objective the "polls" were.
* Simply reporting that Obama is gaining, or has a lead, is considered "biased" according to the rightist media. It's supposed to be kept quiet in the name of "fair and balanced" reporting.
* Because corporations are the repub base, the corporate-owned media always prefers having repubs in control. You think they weren't drooling over a corporate presidency?
* "Poor" Romney crying all the way to the bank.

I know about what the right thinks are "dirty tricks" - for one, the airing of Romney's or any republican's own words. The fact that he believes half of Americans are slackers. How dare the media let something like this out - show's their "liberal bias" (pretty quiet in the mainstream media of course, but big on the internet).
This had nothing to do with the outcome, of course. Poor guy - yet another victim...

Hurricane Sandy helped in that arena. Obamas handling of the storm just before the elections was well received and it reflected in the news.

EdwardA? please give it up becaiuse the excuses the "right wing" is making up for Mittens failure is getting nauseating now! The GOP picked a horrible canidate reminiscent of Bob Dole in 1996! In retrospect he was a better canidate than Romney. It really is kind of hard to overcome being a "honest" canidate when you tell a audience of rich people in a Boca Raton fundraiser that you aren't concerned with the "47%" of Americans who will vote for Obama anyways because they want "handouts" & believe they are "victims".

Mitt Romney didn't lose because of the "MSM"! Mitt Romney lost because he was being "Mitt Romney!

PS: EdwardA? I live in Florida and went through Hurricane Andrew in 1992 and went with out power for 3 & 1/2 weeks! It took FEMA 5 days to show up in Miami after heavy critiscim towards the President! Guess who was the PREZ? George Bush! just like his son Dubya did during Katrina! Smoke that in your pipe!
