Uh, first of all posting a single article from UCLA doesn't makes this correct. Secondly, this is from 2004 and there aren't too many parallels to Obama here.
Keep telling yourself that.

It certainly is curious that they are in a conservative state, with conservative policies instead of a liberal state with liberal policies. Curious indeed.
Do you also find it curious that some fiscal conservatives live in liberal states? I live in Illinois.
Not really. If they are poor then they get their social benefits regardless of the state they live in.
Yes but state welfare benefits vary from state to state. You'd think if governmental benefits made you a slave to the state you'd be where the most freebies would be.
Maybe you don't find it curious, but I find it curious that southern conservative have the highest concentration of the dreaded 47%.

Politics are not that big of a concern to the poor.
But I thought poor people voted for Obama and liberal policies because it got them free things!?!?!

No. Unless there is a high concentration of them? Is there? Illinois has the 23rd most of the dreaded 47% so your state is keeping the moochers out! Or is it that simple? Like you try to make it be?
Are you done generalizing those who don't pay income taxes or you want to continue to look ignorant?
I'm not ignorant. I posted facts. You're the one who posted a chart that FAILS to account for the 36.2% of the working-age people who AREN'T working.
You think more generalizations are going to suffice? And why aren't they working? You think posting a figure is going to do the trick? Does it take into account the number of those working past 65 is at a record? Is it surprising so many people still aren't working after the second greatest economic downturn in the modern times? But it's just easier to assume they are lazy and don't want to work huh?

I mean real politics. Foreign policy, fiscal issues, etc.
Heck, some of them can't even discuss current events within the State.

Uh huh... I'm sure that's what you meant
