Like we would know. The main stream media sure ain't going to report on a successful secession movement in the US.
Actually I think a successful secession movement would be reported, heck the main stream media ignored Occupy Wall Street in the beginning and eventually gave in and ransacked the protest with reporters.

Thank you.

Our idea of "liberal" and "conservative" is vastly different from other countries.

Very much so.

I for one don't want New Jersey, Massachusetts or New York to be part of the same union or whatever you want to call it as I am in.

I mean just look at New Jersey, it's like a foreign country they way they talk, the way they act, the way they think is all so foreign to me.

Several power utility companies in my state sent help to New Jersey to restore power and what did we get for the effort? We got kicked in the face, insulted, spit upon and run out of town by morons who don't have enough sense to turn the power on so they can climb out of their own pool of poopoo.

When that happened I tell you what, I just don't care anymore. I don't care if they freeze to death in the dark all winter long. They voted for it and they should get what they voted for.

Like it was 150 years ago you're a foreign land so why not just part company?
