If I had the time, inclination, and interest, I could easily troll around and film Romney supporters /snip
In any case, there is a pervasive stupidity that has taken over the political discourse in this country, a "dumbing down". They (meaning those whose interests this dumbing down serves) have been able to distill this "discourse" (or, more accurately, yelling points) down to "us" against "them" rhetoric: It's a sweet, simple, and effective strategy.
Take a cursory look at this forum, for instance.
I am not directing my opinion to one party. It is a national problem. My post was directed to a democrat who declared that everyone who voted for Obama are intelligent and literate............well that's pretty dumb, IMO. When one has to justify their opinions, beliefs, actions, etc. by their "intellect and literacy level" tells me that that person overestimates their limited knowledge.
I've said it elsewhere - dumbing down is not restricted to politics. It has become a national disease of epic proportion and nothing is being done to cure it.
Millions of idiots vote, for both parties, and for the little parties in between.
Obviously, but thanks for pointing it out. Being an idiot doesn't stop at politics. Its a national disease. Even educated people can be idiots beyond their book knowledge. I have met many highly educated people who can say the most dumbest things due to either a lack of knowledge (a little bit if knowledge can be a dangerous thing) or a lack of common sense (a thought process).
Were that true I would have saved the bandwidth and not posted at all.
Cyberspace is filled with air.
