Some people get a gun and want to know if it really works.

The teens were not armed.

I feel bad for the kids who lost their lives, but at the same time they screwed up big time. Anyone should know you are risking your life when you break into someone's home.

But it almost seems that this man was hunting them and laying in wait.

Regardless of what side of the gun debate you are on, this is a very sad story.

I don't feel bad.

It may just make another ahole think twice about b&e.

It's a sad state that grand mothers might provide coaching on commiting crimes.
"When I was young people didn't shoot you cause you robbed them, they surrendered. The cops they used to beat us an everything. So when you head up the street to rob that oldman Fuller be careful I heard he is packing a big gun. Old man dont have the sense to just let us take his sheet."

Yea...leave a questionnaire but the front door.

Some people get a gun because they get tired of being robbed or threatened. Some people get a gun because they learn the hard way that when seconds matter the cops are only a half hour away. Some people buy guns because society makes excuses for very bad people.

The old guy is a sick and demented person. Kinda makes you wonder if he has more bodies burried in his backyard or basement. These kids had no right breaking in, but that doesn't change the fact that the old guy is disturbed

Two morals of this story: Don't break into homes if you don't want to be shot. Second, when you shoot the intruder who broke into your house, kill them on the first shot. Make it count.

No it doesn't, but sometimes monsters eat other monsters.

Surprise, surprise... the right wing contingent thinks that it's cool to execute already-incapacitated teenage hoodlums, drug cartel-style.

The guy had a right to shoot and defend himself, but after the initial shot that puts them down and neutralized the threat, you call the cops. You do not put a gun under the kid's chin as they're already lying there and calmly blow her brains out at point-blank range.
