Bush should have never started the wars, but obama could have ended them his first year in office.

Exactly. Two wasted wars that were extended four years by Obama. And he was supposed to be our "peace" President.

Still paying big time for wars we won 67 years ago!

And how many in Korea?

Losing a war is cheaper, no current troops left in Vietnam.

We have over 700 military facilities on soil OTHER than US soil.

The cost of our empire is too much!

There are probably over 40 wars going on around the world today, our military is like a kid in candy shop.

Obama's wars will never end.

Wow, your ignorance of history is stunning. You might want to use the internet for something other than downloading I tunes and porn.

Who started the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan?

<hint #1> the same guy who let them slide for years and left them for someone else to clean up

<hint #2> it wasn't Obama

Just FYI.

What a MOPE! Had Romney won then Gaza would have already been invaded again and Iran war on the planning stages. Bush never fought his war in AFGHANISTAN thus when Obama had to do it the casualties would mount.

Obama has done more to keep us out of war. McCAIN said we should go into Syria. Obama held back and the Brits and France finally stood up to the plate.

Do you folks realize we have troops in Africa now and that country is moving up in US priorities ?

3,000 soldiers to serve in Africa next year - Army News | News from Afghanistan & Iraq - Army Times
Africa, in particular, has emerged as a greater priority for the U.S. government because terrorist groups there have become an increasing threat to U.S. and regional security.

So are you one of those closet anti war Dems?
Sure, but after destabilizing the nations with our military action, it was also incumbent upon us to try to help re-establish societal order. Afghanistan may have been necessary, but Iraq was probably not - you should blame Bush for getting us into that mess. Obama has at least been focused on getting us out as fast as reasonably possible.
