The thing is, the US Constitution already gave us that right. Who took it away?

Nobody. All constitutional rights come with limits. You have the right to free speech, until it comes to yelling "Fire" in a crowded theater. You have the right to freely practice your religion, but you don't have the right to impose it on other people in public places. There have been some kind of gun control laws throughout the existence of the United States. The right to bear arms has never been without limits. Since you still have the right to bear arms, nobody took it away.

I dont have the right to use, own and carry the same firearms as our individual soldier uses. where does it state the feds are allowed to limit our freedom in that? I seem to remember "shall not be infringed upon", not anything about limiting a persons right in that same capacity.
