I think as so many of you have stated, the problem persay would not be the fact of being humiliated.
If a person is upfront from day one, there many not be that much of an issue. Sorry people but you cannot help who it is you fall in love with.
I have watched shows on cable, of this same issue, a man meeting a beautiful woman, that was born a man. Tell you something, i had to do a double take, some of these men, must have been damn good looking men. To be really a hot beautiful looking woman. The men have been commited to these relationships, out of the 3 only one walked.
Watch who it is you meet in a bar scense, things on the outside, are not what is going on inside!

In Brazil, transgender men-to-women are often more beautiful and feminine than those born women. They really revel in being female, and they do it in a big way. There are even contests devoted to the Miss Brazil-Transgender pageant. Culturally it isn't taboo for a straight man to marry one of these post-op transsexuals; a few years ago a celebrity ( a boxer, I think) did and no-one battered an eyelid. Can you image how the media here would react if Mike Tyson married a transgender? Oh he must be gay

As is indicated here, there are guys that have no problem with it.

What would you do if you discovered your partner was previous the same sex as you and later surgically altered to be the opposite sex? Someone you have loved and cared for had a sex change before they met you - and you had no idea - would it make a difference? Once overcoming the intial shock - would it be worth continuing? Would you feel deceived, shocked or elated? Would you try to understand the reasons behind keeping such a secret, and attempt forgiveness, or would you write them off as liars?
