Why tax the wealthier Americans more?

Why not tax the wealthier Americans more than we do now?

I as the middle class get taxed more. My taxes change all the time, why shouldn't theirs?

I think it's like penis envy without the penis.

Total BS. Only the brainwashed believe that garbage. Why are you so gullible and easy for the leftists/elite to manipulate?
Most Wealthy Individuals Earned, Not Inherited, Their Wealth

Oh, wait... I know. The leftists/elite don't want too many people to get all uppity and think they can actually make something of themselves. Can't have that or they would lose a HUGE chunk of their voting base.

The Liberals and Democrats are enablers. Everyone wins. The poor stay poor and the dems keep their voting base.

Obama is growing the Democratic voting base (the welfare base) from the middle class out.

The only useful new tax would be a tax on all imported goods.

We shouldn't harm productivity or further destroy the middle class by confiscating more income or their retirement savings. It's entirely foolish to further penalize businesses that we need because they hire Americans.

Let import taxes be used to pay for all those on welfare handouts and unemployment.

The bank robber was honest. Liberals are not. Liberals have NO intention whatsoever of increasing income tax revenue in any meaningful way. If they did they would tax the group that earns MOST of the income: the middle class.

Instead, their goal is just to penalize sacrifice, hard work, and success.

But, hey... liberals DO believe in INCENTIVIZING reproduction among those unable to support themselves.

95% of Americans compete over about 5% of the money, the 5% of population controls the other 95% of the money. It is statistically impossible for the middle class to generate most of the income, when almost all of the money is in the hands of a few people. The middle class only controls 2-3% of American money.

Totally false. The top 5% earns 31.7% of the income. The other 95% earns 68.3% of the income.
Latest IRS Federal Individual Income Tax Data

Where do you liberals keep getting all of your false data? Serious question.

I presume that refers to AGI or to "taxable income". And the top 5% have many more wags to fudge their "income" numbers than to wage slaves who are fed W-2 forms by their employers.
