His presidency had some significant accomplishments--regardless if you agree with them or not--just like any other president in modern history. But they were significant achievements nonetheless.

1) Issued an executive order prohibiting federal funds for international family planning groups that provide abortions and contraceptive services.

2) Upheld the ban on abortions at military hospitals.

3) Reduced taxes on dividends and capital gains.

4) Made $33 million available for abstinence education programs in 2004.

5) Supports the Defense of Marriage Act - and a Constitutional amendment saying marriage is between one man and one woman.

6) Not once did Iraq ever attack America during his 8 years in office, due to his toppling of the Saddam regime.

7) Expanded the role of faith-based and community organizations in after-school programs.

8) Was the first president to get elected to have a DUI conviction, proving that anybody could be president, regardless of past misdeeds, and providing that you found Jesus.

9) Saved America from the "Clinton Recession" that was starting it's slow creep in the late 1990s, with tax cuts for the rich.

10) "Country-pop" genre of music made a triumphant resurgence during his presidency, moreso than at any time in modern American history.

11) Christian "megachurches" experienced a huge boom during his presidency that survives to this day (albeit with lesser influence), despite President Obama's stubborn "War on Religion."

12) Provided a "moral contrast" to the sexual sins of the Clinton White House.

13) Pushed through THREE raises for our military. Increased military pay by more than $1 billion a year.

14) Killed the old US/Soviet Union ABM Treaty that was preventing the U.S. from deploying our ABM defenses.

I can't imagine his face next to the likes of Lincoln and Roosevelt.

Hell no.

Only if tax payer's money is used and they hire subcontractors that charge riduculously bloated overhead costs.

Haliburton should be up for the task. Bush and Cheney would've wanted it that way.

Lightbulb Should George W. Bush's face be put on Mt. Rushmore?

Not Mt Rushmore.

But Dubya's image deserves a place right next to Herbert Hoover and Warren Harding in a collection of presidential bobble-head dolls to be displayed in a abandoned storefront in Detroit.
