What purposal have the republicans put forward? They haven't, so maybe when they do they can add a plan to cut this.?

It wouldn't matter if they did..Reid would table it because it came from the Republicans.

It's quite obvious that Congress is not going to cut programs like this.
There's been no talk, no debate on this type of spending.

The only way this will get cut back is to let the across the board cuts happen in January.

Um, would you prefer having to pay the medical bills of those girls after they get an STD? or for numerous babies because their boyfriends refused to use condoms?

Oh, wait, we can just tell them to be abstinent. Yeah, that'll work.

And then you'll whine that people who can't afford kids shouldn't have them, they should use birth control, not be on welfare.... but you'll get upset when government takes the approach of "an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure..."

It's a study. They are not actually telling girls anything.
They are studying it.

Just like they are spending money to study some prehistoric bird to see if it's feathers were really black.
