It used to be a problem that women were underrepresented in college and then changes were made. Now women grossly outnumber men, but I don't see many on the left seeing a problem with this. Why is it a problem when women are underrepresented in college, but when men are it isn't?
I, for one, posit that we should once again subjugate women in order to balance the college population. Those haughty women have had their fun...get back in the kitchens I say.
On the other hand, bearing in mind the situation you just mentioned, it might be a good idea to go back and get another degree. Liking those odds!

They would probably say that (what with the 'pay gap' and all) males are not disadvantaged and thus need and deserve no special help.
When I was in college, the campus job postings listed many jobs as 'underutilized by women and minorities' but there were NO jobs - not even 'pink collar' jobs - described as underutilized by males,
The fact of the matter is that women do better at school, and therefore are better-prepared for college studies than men. As such, more women enter universities to study than do men.
Perhaps men should "man up" and start taking their studies more seriously.

Repug/cons didn't think it was a problem when women were under represented and did nothing.
Repugs hate that "liberal" education stuff so why are they worried????

What prevents a man from going to college? Something I should have complained, whined and groan about but didn't?

Wow. For once I agree with you.

One thing you'll notice, is that the "feminist" side of this argument always responds with ridiculous hyperbole. You know, if you don't want colleges to be blatantly biased toward women, that must make you some kind of evil woman-hater who wants to subjugate them.
All the while, your side of the argument continues to push for more and more pro-female bias in the academic world, even as men are falling out of the game of higher education. Just look at the dems who want Title IX to apply to the STEM curriculum, which would cut funding to male-dominated programs if they can't find enough women to join.
Why not apply Title IX to the Liberal arts programs , to include more men ? And if men don't want to sign up for leftist liberal arts majors, we'll just have to cut their funding.
