The fiscal cliff is upon us January 1st if nothing is done! Yet congress is scheduled to start their vacation on December 15th! 112th Congress, 2nd Session - 2012 Published Schedules | HobnobBlog

Shouldn't they stay and finish the job we pay them to do for at least another week?

The president's proposal was so pathetic and insulting they should just walk away. He is not serious and seems to want to go over the cliff.
