We do need a more balanced approach, but is there a single Repub who will put pen to paper presenting an offer increasing revenue and decreasing spending rates of increase? (That will require guts!!)

If not, the ball is out of their court, as once 12/28 arrives, there will be no present tax rates to try to extend.

Act of terrorism?

Shouldn't you be more worried about the request for dictatorial powers over the budget by Obama?

No, that doesn't worry you at all. Federal is a thing of the past and the constitution is just a stupid piece of crappy paper.

Then someone should have told Bush to veto the tax bill unless it was passed as a permanent, not temporary , measure.

Go ahead, GOP. Assume the public isn't paying attention. Keep up your lame approach to American politics as being "gods, guns, and gays" and that none of us can see through your smokescreen.

There are very solid reasons that millions of former Republicans like me now strongly oppose your malicious intentions. Reasons you continue to dismiss at your peril.
"Fiscal Cliff" term originated with Ben Bernanke.

Another lie from Old Gringo.
