This sounds like a mother trying to escalate a situation that doesn't require escalation. The teacher is in her first year and it sounds like she just made a bad judgment call. If this is the only issue they've had so far and its been corrected then I see no reason to try to push for suspension.
Momma bears sometimes over react when they believe their cub is in danger. Don't mess with cubs and Momma bear wont rip your gut.
This seems weird to me. If you got to go you have to go. Maybe the bathrooms were too crowded at the set bathroom times for the kid to go then. Unless he constantly was having to go then I don't see what the problem was in
just letting him go. If it was a constant problem then maybe the teacher should have spoke with his parents.
What is this Buck reward thing anyhow? Should it cover bodily functions? Think the school should look at this.Perhaps the teacher, being so new, was blindly following a foolish protocol. On the other hand, maybe the kids are all just being prepared for Totalitarianism.
