The religious Center and Left probably don't feel the need to wear their belief on their sleeve as many on the Right who try to impress others of their supposed piety.

These are the Christian churches which your grandparents belonged to, the ones almost every President of the United States belonged to, the denomination of virtually every grand old stone-built church in every American city. Collectively, they are the historical faith of the American people, and woven into the fabric of American society to such an extent that perhaps you simply no longer hear them because you've always heard them.
Thank you. We have been Methodists for many years and our church welcomes anyone and everyone.

"Why don’t we hear much about the religious left?"

They are too busy doing charitable work??

That would be my guess.

The Christian "left", using the term advisedly, is generally off doing their thing for social justice with the "right hand not knowing what the left hand is doing", as Jesus tells us.

Yet curiously even when a religion is not endorsed, ie govt telling people to follow THAT faith, but the 10 commandments for example are an integral part of the development of American law and are thusly displayed in courthouses, atheist demand they be taken down, to heck with historical significance. They simply cannot stand seeing them there, not even in their legitimate historical context.

They go further than just not believing. They also seem to antagonize Christianiy and its symbols more so than other religious faiths.

I've heard this before. Jesus was a "liberal" (todays definition). Prove it, using scripture references, and explain what they meant, please.

Jesus was no "liberal." He wasn't the warm fuzzy "accept all beliefs, condemn no one" that you "liberals think he was.

You'd better check your Bible. My guess is, you've never read it. If you have read any of it, you don't understand it.

Define "fundamentalist," please. We'll soon see if you have any clue about what you are talking about. My guess is, you don't.

Jesus liberal? "Render unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's, and unto God the things that are God's" is the epitome of conservatism. If he were around today he would be tarred and feathered by the left. They would go after that like they go after Rush Limbaugh.

How is that either a Conservative or Liberal position?
