First I'd have to know what a Republican is, and what he stands for, in order to say he is one in name only. You have no clue who I am or what my views are, much less to infer I called Boehner a RINO.
Neither the fact that you are ill-informed nor the fact that we are unacquainted prevents me from interpreting the clear sense of your statement.
Quote:
Why are you so defensive of Boehner anyway, are you an immediate family member of his?
I find it ironic that the left is celebrating this when Justin Amash and Walter Jones actually support cuts in defense and foreign aid. Why the left hasn't embraced these issues as areas of agreement is a mystery to me. If this fiscal cliff is as bad as they say and one side is demanding cuts, it would seem sensible to me to want to negotiate a compromise that involves cutting unnecessary overseas spending that provides absolutely no benefit to Americans. This would never be something Boehner would agree to yet he is the one that is being called sane. Amash actually explains every vote he makes on his Facebook page and his vote is based on whether or not the measure being voted on is in accordance with the Constitution. You may not agree with every interpretation of the Constitution that he has but at least he is attempting to actually vote based on the supreme law of the land. For politicians like Boehner on the other hand, it is all about self-interest.
There were reasonable representatives during the Regan and Clinton administrations that put their differences aside to come up with viable solutions, these people are not willing to compromise and that is not good for the country. Politicians with principles put the country ahead of their philosophy.
Now the republicants can totally disown him, even though they were FOR him, what, yesterday?
LOL
You either:
1. Confuse yourself.
2. Have a very short attention span.
3. Don't comprehend what you read.
You should be required to prove the garbage you spew. You quoted me, so prove it. Let's see a link to where I have been pro-Boehner. Prove what you say. If you can't prove it, that makes you a liar.

Those politicians also ran up the debt and left us to foot their bill. Following that pattern would only mean the next generation will have it even worse. The inevitable of having to pay off our debts is going to have to occur at some point in time. I don't know how anyone can say adding to the country's deficit even more at this point is putting the country first.

I know the election was a long time ago, but Romney campaigned on the Obama's proposed cuts in defense so I not feeling your belief that "liberals" need to get behind something that they are already behind. As for foreign aid... pissing over 1% of the Federal budget much of which does in fact benefit the country.
"Congratulations, comrade! Our Fearless Leader is inviting you to the Kapitol... so he can give you a medal... in person!"
After years of reading the same nonsense over and over again, sometimes just to maintain one's sanity you go along with the program and learn to stop pissing into the wind.
