Ok... people will go into the new golden age wearing coats and eating fungus/hydroponic vegetables and meat grown in tubes.

Still though, life might surprise us. Nagasaki and Hiroshima are thriving cities with large populations and Bikini Atoll has a beautiful thriving reef. Nevada saw over 900 nuclear tests but is still full of strippers and slot machines! We've gotta stay positive...

OMG, I wonder how many leaners here have ever given any thought to what you say. Biden surely wouldn't do anything without asking Obama first. Maybe madame Jarrett will still be around at that time and since she is calling the shots with Obama at home she could help old Jowe.

I'm not sure what my favorite doomsday scenario might be, but I think the most plausible will be economic chaos, or a cyber attack on our communications and energy grid.

I think it's very plausible, actually.

OMG, ain't gonna happen. Unless Obama dies in Hawaii. If Syria uses chem weapons on its citizens then there will be a series of air strikes by NATO just like Libya.

Oy veh, roy.

I'm going with - all the dead people will rise again and we will have The Walking Dead. An entire genre will be created out of this apocolypse. Oh wait.

The only theory I can conjure is, if it's doomsday and the end of the world then what is there to prep for? Seems in this case the old tune, 'There's got to be a morning after' just won't apply.
