Hmmm...sounds like 1930s Germany.

Pull your head out of the sand people!

Do you realize the debt ceiling has been increased 6 times since 2009 for entitlements. and he has borrowed 5 trillion to fund these entitlements.

He also wants to give up Congresses ability to LIMIT BORROWING by the treasury dept.

So keep laughing I am in the country and you are in the city who will fare better when it all goes to sh*t. Let me give you a hint it wont be you.
Then what will you say, in 2016, when it doesn't happen?
Will you feel like an ignoramus? Most assuredly not: You'll have some conspiracy theory as to why he couldn't continue his dictatorial ways despite his surely wanting to.

Man sake's alive, are you really that paranoid? Or are you pulling our legs, rick-rolling us? I sincerely (and I mean that--sincerely) hope it's the latter.

Hey Miborn, you do realize that Hitler gained power by spreading the same type of paranoia that you are spreading? You do realize that Hitler incited hatred and fear of gays, blacks, socialists, liberals? Do you understand Miborn?

Yeah, I remember some extreme leftwingers who made a big deal of it, but I'm sure most people understood it to be a joke. A dumb thing to say, but a joke nonetheless.

Hitler was not 14 years old when he came to power. Perhaps you meant, "Germany was a new Republic (14 years old) when it was taken over by Hitler." ?

These demands include: a doubling of his campaign “promise” to $1.6 Trillions in new taxes levied on the American people (which will decimate what’s left of the middle-class…his intent all along),

and personal unlimited sole authority to raise the USSA’s debt ceiling as he desires…whenever he wants.

Translation: Obama now demands full dictatorial powers over the US economy and the elimination of Congressional authority—or even input—in all economic matters.

Obama: Give me Dictatorial Powers or I’ll Take your Country out
And remember this is the exact same guy who said that Bush asking for a debt ceiling was unpatriotic.

Although you are a lunatic, I can't help but to wonder if the $1.6 trillion in new revenues include the tax for the Affordable Health Care Act as well? (aka ObamaCare)

The President shouldn't have the power to raise the debt ceiling, but you know the funny part? It wasn't him who even proposed that idea, but instead your's truest: a conservative. (Mitch McConnell I believe?) In fact has Obama even stated that he supports the idea of giving him the power to raise the debt ceiling whenever he wants? I don't support that idea of giving any President that much power, but instead I believe congress should just raise the debt ceiling to about $20 trillion since it's going to hit that mark anyways, and try to find area's where they need to cut. We don't need anymore fiscal cliff type scenario's especially since we really aren't serious about cutting our deficit/debt/spending right now. I keep proposing over and over again, for congress to implement a "Budget Cap" upon itself of $3.5-3.8 trillion so spending won't continue to grow as wild as it has in recent years. I thinks that's most responsible thing they can do for now, and while the cap is in place (I say for maybe 2-3 years) they can come up with a realistic way to cut spending, while increasing federal revenue without harming the US economy nor the people. Obviously Congress nor the President could come up with a deal to create revenue, cut spending without putting the economy on the back burner, so they came up with this fiscal cliff that will harm everyone including the economy. So three years should be adequate time to plan the fiscal future of this nation, since they couldn't do it in one.
