Since then, youve been living off the fruits of your colonial ancestors. Its quite incredible, the ingenuity those guys had. Look at growth vs debt in c19 america, and look at it during chinas recent industrialization. Even with a playbook. a model to copy, the chinese couldnt even come close. Their growth looks diabolically bad quality in comparison. Pre federal reserve america was a jewel in humanities development.
Since then, america has been a disgrace to the world.

Damn the politicians for sacrificing virgin blood into this economic morass. The boomers have made their bed and must lie in it. Liberation for the youth comes with rejection of the state and the status quo.
Someone with heart failure may be able to function OK during times of low stress on their body. But when that same person gets stressed out....well, things are not going to go good.
Same things applies to this failed country. For example how about a large national disaster. This country has no sense of cohesion and unity......many citizens would be acting like the savage they are......raping, slaughtering, murdering....LMFAO, multi-culti nightmare.
Same things goes for the funky financial system we have.....an illusion to make this country look rich. Bubble after bubble......scam program after scam program......just a failed mess.

The Twenties were much more than "a collapse"; the early Twenties might best be compared to the late Forties or early Nineties -- a point where Americans found themselves at the top of the heap, and didn't know how to handle it.
Those times were all characterized by social conflict, but a lot of the tension in the Twenties was between people who still lived on the farm and their urbanite cousins and descendents, and between the Protestant mainstream of the day (itself split between hard-shell Fundamentalists and secular moderates) and a growing immigration-fueled contingent of Eastern European Catholics, Orthodox and Jews. Most African-Americans were still de facto enslaved to the land in the Agrarian South and didn't have any say in things -- yet!
The boom, and the collapse (which took four years to reach the bottom) came later; in the process, whole new political configurations were formed. The Thirties today bring back some images of the rise of violent, organized crime and the end of Prohibition, but outside of a few major cities, the "pop culture" actuallly became more Puritanical (cases in point -- Shirley Temple, Disney, and The Wizard of Oz). The gritty underside was there, but usually hdden; its emergence would be a factor in the culture wars of the Fifities and Sixties, and like everything else, it modified itself to fit what the "new" society could accomodate, with a big boost courtesy of the Pill.
The Left generates the fantasies and follies, and the people living closer to the Real World bring them back down to earth; the cycle will repeat itself -- we just don't know how soon, or how harshly.

As long as rightwing media is making lots of money telling the gullible how America will end/be destroyed expect them to continue their alternate reality bs for as long as it takes a certain demographic of society to wake up to the fact they are being duped..

As long as the liberal left wing media keeps telling people sending more money to the government will fix it all, the gullible people who let emotion control them rather than common sense... the economy will not grow, it will still be hard to find a job.
