Comping the meal is small compared to the bad PR caused by something like this going viral. Even if you fire the jerk who was stupid enough to not only use such a term but hand it to the customer, once word gets out your restaurant will be associated with that incident. If you need a better system for keeping up with which table gets which bill, come up with one like using table numbers.
Doesn't matter if the girls had a weight problem or not. Using descriptive terms on a restaurant bill is not appropriate. What if it had said "gay couple" or "crack w***es"? Even if it said "hot chicks, please get me their numbers", it's bad business practice (although that might have made the customers feel a little better).
