It appears another lie by the great ONE..........

"Health insurer Blue Shield of California wants to raise rates as much as 20% for some individual policyholders, prompting calls for the nonprofit to use some of its record-high reserve of $3.9 billion to hold down premiums. In filings with state regulators, Blue Shield is seeking an average rate increase of 12% for more than 300,000 customers, effective in March, with a maximum increase of 20%."

Premiems will fall by 3000% according to the great orator.

Is anyone actually surprised?

Ours are going up close to 20% as well here. It would have been even more if we weren't going to switch insurance carriers!

Yes- Obamacare was a win for insurance companies.
We need to get our fiscal house in order and move foward with UHC.
There are plenty of templates out there that while have flaws are better then what we have now.

The providing of Healthcare coverage cannot be left to entities out only to make profits.

If you mandate that certain things must be covered, then it is only fair that you must pay for them in turn. Requiring free preventative care, covering "kids" until age 26, and other freebies do have a cost and we all have to bear it.

Germans, not being influenced by self-defeaters as we must experience, seem to get away with that, somehow.

Free preventative care will lower costs in the long run.

Yes. Alot of people are surprised. This issue came up MANY times on this forum and many of us said premiums will go up.

Every liberal/socialist who backed Obummer argued they would not. And gave all sorts of BS link from official sources, saying how it would be cheaper, etc. In fact, many said to me: "I've debunked you before, should I debunk you again?"

Obummer Care is ONLY good for the socialists out there, so they will get their healthcare. Paid for by someone else. They are happy. They can clog up hospitals, doctors offices, et al and not pay a dime.

I've not had a single person explain to me HOW, if 30 million people DO NOT have healthcare now, by forcing them to get healthcare is going to be cheaper? If they can't afford it now, what makes you think they can afford it in 2014? They can't. They are going to walk into some office, claim they are broke, and get it paid for by the rest of us. How? Our taxes are going up. Plain and simple. THAT is the facts of Obummer Care. And the socialists are happy has pigs in mud.

We need to get the government out of healthcare now. They have no place being in there. Obamacare is crap and people are just beginning to wake up to that. But this is what you get when you pass it to find out what is in it.

Instead, you should have said... let us agree with the President and let public option happen.
