Teaching people how to live a clean life is not prejudice, it's good sense.

They now have an AIDS test people can take at home and they are saying a huge percent of people in our society have AIDS and they don't even know it. Living by the Golden Rule isn't so bad afterall when you know the main reason for it is to stay safe and have a long life without disease. This is no lie, this is the truth.
True. And a monogomous relationship, such as marriage is supposed to be, is one way to help achieve that disease (STD) free life for hetero and homosexual couples.

Gay people marry...

...Gay people gain extra privileges to make their life easier
...Quality of life increases for more people...

...Sounds good to me.

The Catholic Church has done much more harm than good with it's 'teaching' against condom use in Africa where the vast majority of people who are HIV positive are heterosexual.
Perhaps he means "cooties"?

How would it alter YOUR marriage?

Simple question, yet STILL no answer.

Straight couples will now have to attend marriages for their gay friends, causing them an economic burden as they will have to buy more gifts and travel.

"Bob and Doug are getting married next week in the Poconos. Should we get them the toaster or the breadmaker?"

It doesn't seem like these people have ever met a real, live gay person. It sounds like they get their ideas of homosexuals from the most outrageous stereotypes they can find.

NONE of that has to do with YOUR OP but I guess you seem to want to ignore that..

Have you come up with anything that remotely backs up the claim in your thread title?

No.

If two of the same gender is entirely different ONLY in that it's two of the same gender, then that difference is negligible. Two adults of sound mind is equal to two adults of sound mind. And since there are numerous examples of heterosexual couples marrying and not having children, and homosexual couples can and do have children, that particular matter of equality of the two kinds of couples is negated. As for being of benefit to society, the reason marriage is supported by social systems is that they provide stability within social systems. That benefit is present whether the couples are heterosexual or homosexual. I can't think of any way that same-sex marriage is quantifiably different from heterosexual marriage. And I don't think you can, either.

P.S. You asked a simple question, "When did marriage in this country change many times? How?" The answer was given, but nice way to deflect from acknowledging you were proven wrong.
In their warped delusional mind, it's not an actual change to marriage unless it's one they personally disagree with. Who cares that other changes were opposed by a larger percentage than those that oppose same-sex marriage. Their opposition is the only one that determines a change or not.
