Most kids are bullied.

Columbine didn't happen because a couple dorks had their lunch money taken away.

Arming teachers and other responsible adults within schools is a no brainer, but thinking bullying will ever be controlled is a bit wishful.

Yeah that won't stop kids from being bullied. Kids aren't dumb enough to think the teacher will shoot em for being a bully. Well maybe they would think a liberal teacher would.

The problem, Smitty, is that wingnuts think you are serious about letting teachers execute bullies - and they approve of it.

What? I never advocated that. I am for children fighting back against bullies and teaching them a lesson, because bullies pick on the weak. Liberals wont even allow kids to fight back against bullies now, instead they pacify and empower the bully by inconveniencing every other kid by making them go through 'bully mitigation measures', all the while the bully gets a pass. Having armed teachers will create more respect for them, children will be more serious, get more out of the experience. Degenerate kids will no longer be able to drag down the rest of the class, and bullies will know their place. Liberals have pacified, and overly protected their little bundles of joy over the past 20 years and the results are horrific. Weaker minded kids consuming 80 percent of the worlds prescription drugs because they cant cope with anything because they have been sheltered. The real world can be a mean and nasty place. Dont do children a disservice, prepare them for the world.

Arming teachers would also take care of the bullying problem

And who says that teachers are all the least likely group to commit acts of violence?

Who says that an armed teacher could not snap when a particularly rowdy group of kids continues to give them a hard time in class?

Arm them with a group of kids in front of them? I don't think so.

If only the school staff had been armed, many children's lives would have been saved.

"Go ahead, Johnny, make my day and throw that spiball!"

"A kid has got to know his limitations."

I personally think Frum had the right idea: Let's arm the kids. I don't know about other states, but here 10-year olds can hunt. If they've gone through their training, let's hook them up and arm them. This will be much more effective in stopping spree killers and bullies. After all, teachers cannot always be present. Let's arm every kid over 10 who has been trained and all staff, from the principal down through the janitors and cooks. An armed school is a polite school! Heck, I'm even agreeable to taking that age down to 8!!!
