House ask why Saudi Arabia was added to trusted traveler program | The Daily Caller

Why? What am I missing here? How does this make any sense

Because our TSA agents are worthless against real terrorists.
Let them test coffee and juice cups and confiscate cupcakes and grope babies.
DHS is more afraid of us then any other group it seems.

Knowing the 9/11 hijackers came here from Saudi Arabia, how can this be justified? And people wonder why some of us have a lot of distrust and hate for our government

The Committee is right, and is doing its job, by seeking an explanation from DHS. I see nothing wrong with the questioning. As for the program about which the questions are being raised,

Quote:
Global Entry trusted traveler program ... “allows expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travelers upon arrival in the United States”
"pre-approved, low-risk travelers" are the persons afforded the easier entry.

Why does the Kingdom get inclusion in the program: ask the former federal government (GOP) officials who serve as consultants to the Kingdon. Politics. Money. Those are the driving forces.

Mexico is also on the list of "trusted travelers".

The drug cartel must be laughing over this one.

Very strange considering Osama bin Laden was originally from Saudi Arabia.

This isnt on the GOP though as far as I know. To do this just makes no sense. I dont think some in DC and especially DHS take our security very seriously at all. Its all politics. This crap has to stop. Can we have some common sense please?

And what do you think the chance is of Janet/DHS responding to enquirers? She refused to answer about why they were buying so many bullets so I dont expect her to answer this.
