I wish more of you would be doing weed. You'd forget all about your guns if you kept it lit more often.

Given that one item is legal and one not...I don't know that that's exactly unexpected.

But let me ask...does your dealer do a background check when you buy a bag? Check your license? Record the sale? Verify that you are not mentally ill, a felon or underage?

If you put down the weed...your posts might be a touch more rational.

Maybe we do need more restrictions on firearms purchases, perhaps a basic IQ test and some demonstration that a buyer is mentally sane. After reading some of the post on CD today, I'm starting to come around. It's becoming obvious that there are more people than I realized that clearly lack the IQ, rationality and/or mental stability to be expected to handle a firearm safely.

Brings back the old issue, maybe we need to open up the asylums again. Putting crazy people on the street clearly hasn't worked well.
I was referring to healthcare PERIOD, not just mental health.

I agree with the rest of your post, there are more than one RWNJ on this forum mentally unfit to be in posession of guns.

Um...in what way? Can you not just walk into a mental health clinic, take your credit card out and pay for service? Or is there a test first? Do you have to pass a federal check to prove that you are mentally ill before you can get treatment?

See? I told you so." It's the constitution, stupid." The parents of those dead kids had better suck it up. And read their constitution again.

So, what is stopping you from walking into a doctor's office, clinic or hospital and receiving health car PERIOD? Are you somehow legally prohibited from stepping foot in such places? I don't understand? Is there some legal restriction that I am unaware of?

I only use escalators and elevators because I'm an elitist.

I agree, they should suck it up. if they want to blame someone besides the shooter, then all they have to do is look at the federal goverment. the feds are the ones that made schools mass murder zones for anyone that wants to do so.
