Did it ever occur to you that she could have been killed in her sleep and he broke in her gun case (if she had them in one) and got hold of them afterwards? Or her just walked up to her that morning and blasted her at the breakfast table? The investigation is not over. You are jumping to conclusions prematurely on how he got access to the firearms.

Yeah because most shootings in the United States happen by the hands of law abiding registered gun owners. There are no criminals, gangs, or cartels murdering with un-registered assault weapons here. It's mainly the Bible beating conservative gun owners pulling off most of America's shootings. I for one will be so happy when more regulations are in place because these law abiding registered gun owning scum will turn thier weapons in and the criminals will not, which is going to dramatically decrease the violent shootings and killings of innocent people in our urban areas where citizens don't need as much protection from home invasions and armed robberies. I really hope I only have the ability to own a small handgun because the thugs down the street with thier AK's and AR's already said they would only steal from or shoot people that had big guns like them! I can't wait for the new bans and control over what I can defend my family with. I wish and pray for the day when the only ones with guns are the military and police because I know we will all be safe because when governments are in total control of everyone, nothing bad has ever taken place...ever!!! and that's just the facts from history. Trust in your government, they won't lie just like MSNBC, CNN, and FOXNEWS don't lie!

he is thinking about banning online ammunition buying. close enough. it also means time to buy more ammo and ammo components.
People who are afraid of guns, think that by banning them or "controlling" them, that they will be safe.
But disarming the law abiding people does not slow down the predators, thugs, and bullies, who will benefit the most.
On the contrary, if the government is incapable of restraining the predators, the viable solution is widespread arming of the public.
It's common sense that predators prefer prey that can't shoot back at them.

It was a disgusting politicization of an event that has brought so much grief into the lives of the people of this community. What business did the President have in going there?
He used this event and these people to make a new pitch for "gun control." But the fact of the matter is that events such as this only take place where there are no guns that may be used against the perpetrator.
Had there been someone in the building with a gun, who knew how to use it, many lives may would have been saved. But with no weapons available for defense (and this young man knew it), he was free to kill at will.
Do we need any more evidence that removing guns from the hands of law abiding citizens leaves them defenseless against a criminal with intent to kill?
