For those of you who are pro gun ban or gun control, can you please tell me why no man, crazy or not, takes an assault rifle go go attacks a police precinct or other armed facility?
Because they are looking for the most vulnerable: children and people in a captive environment. Are you suggesting we arm kindergartners? Is America headed back to the wild west?

So - your vision for a safe America is one where every public venue is modeled on a police station or army barracks? To each their own, I guess.
But they don't really "need" them. Even now in 2012 police in the U.K. aren't armed. Imagine that. They aren't killed at nearly the rate that armed police are in this country. Imagine that. We've had several days of these threads I can't imagine anything being said here that hasn't been already. Need attention much o.p.? Trouble with the U.S.... they only look in black neighborhoods for guns. They don't find many. So they sleep soundly... until something like this.
