Stop and Frisk in NYC??
I understand how you feel. My father has been stopped and harassed by the police a few times. People have called the police on me based on "suspicion". What was I doing when the police found me? Riding my bicycle at night or jogging at night. I'm an insomniac, so sometimes I need something to do. It gets frustrating and angering, and for this reason, I'm against stop and frisk.

You agree with what??? Guns are banned in Chicago already. It probably has the most restrictive gun law on law abiding citizens in the country.

You either agree that gun control on law abiding citizens is useless or this is a fake news. Which one is it?

Exactly! Maybe it's not the guns, perhaps it's the culture.

The underground mob is still at work in the Windy City that is how.

Ignorant people seem to ignore it though because Obama is from Chicago (his 4th home after his place of birth in Kenya) & hung out with those types of crooks.

First of all

1) Do we know President Obama hung out with the mob?
2) There is no evidence of President Obama being born in Kenya. However, he was born in Hawaii, which is part of the USA.

Did Obama practice politics in Chicago? Yes. Then he hung out with the mob, at least occasionally.

Speak to anyone that lived in Chicago while President Obama (known as Barry while he was there) was making his name for himself. If they're moderately honest and were in touch with the way Chicago was run, they'll tell you all sorts of interesting stories about the sly backroom deals that were going on.

Since Obama has resided in Chicago for a number of years, one would expect that he would have spoken out, but besides uttering maybe a sentence or two about 'stopping the violence,' no serious intervention has been discussed at length or devised.

I think most in this nation are tired of the glorification of violence, and senseless deaths. I'm amazed that Obama, Congress and the Senate seem to gloss over the most pressing gun violence that occurs on a routine basis.

It's time to end violence throughout this nation; especially in the areas most devastated by it.

WASHINGTON WATCH: Gun Violence Among Black Men - YouTube
Politicians don't speak the truth, they talk what benefits them. It's sad that our president resorts to such BS.

The reason why these men and women die is obvious. Thugs have guns, non-thugs have cops. That means by the time a cop arrives, your brain is splattered all over the sidewalk.

It also means you are a powerless sack of meat against the government. It makes the government more powerful.

The non-thinking liberals may want to re-think their knee jerk position. I've never had a gun growing up in a liberal state, but i can see this clearly. The government doesnt give a rats ass about your safety, they want to make sure you never, ever, ever, question authority.

It's a sad state of affairs.

The political playground in Chicago has been controlled by organized crime for years, and that probably won't change in the near future. Most recently, as recently as 2011, in fact, the Duff family, a well-known criminal family that masquerades as Union leaders (surprise, surprise), have been tied to ex-Mayor Daley.

On top of this little tidbit, The Chicago Outfit has been part and parcel of Chicago's Democratic Machine since the 1920's. Anyone with a brief familiarity with gangland history and/or Chicago history can fill you in on this.

Now, let's throw in Obama's connection to Tony Rezko (slumlord extraordinaire), who is known to have connections to organized crime.

So, how does practicing politics mean hanging out with the mob? In Chicago, the two go hand-in-hand.
