Funny, a guy shows evidence of rational, nonideological thought, and the witch hunt begins...RINO!!!!

As long as you are the party of dumb white guys who are never, ever, ever wrong about anything, and never need to adjust your views, you will keep losing.

Scarborough seems intelligent on this and many issues. I don't agree with him, but he seems rational. And here is the end game. If conservatives come forward and work with liberals on this issue, no one is coming for your guns. Unless you feel you really, really need that assault rifle. I personally think anyone with one of those should have to be more sqeaky clean than Mother Theresa and sober as a judge. No more crackheads and wingnuts with their pit bulls and Glocks. Enough already.

I'm sure that in the late 1930's and early 1940's the German people heard all these same arguments. As a result of gun confiscation millions of German's were put to death because they couldn't defend themselves against their government, same thing happened in Russia, China, Africa, and many other countries. The United States will be next because the people will allow it.

Of course, a politician being a hypocrite is nothing new.
Huh???? How in the world is that hypocritical? Just because a an elected official wants to restrict assault rifles, make it harder to get guns, require licensing, ban gun shows which don't require any waiting period, etc. doesn't mean he can't have an armed guard who has been thoroughly trained to use a firearm. Your argument is stupid. No one says that guns will cease to exist or that guards are not necessary. We just want them to be in the hands of capable, well-trained professional law enforcement!

Did you really think a cop guarding an elected official was going to have his gun taken away? Really? LOL!!

Jews made up less than 1% of the German population in 1933.

Even if they were armed to the teeth, do you think they had a chance against Hitler's Army???

Joe had to step down from congress after an extra marital affair and a dead woman found in his local congressional office.

The man has an over inflated ego and thinks that he is smarter than the average bear.

Evil events like this tear at our emotions and will cause some to reconsider their position, but clearer heads must prevail. We can not sacrifice our liberty over such tragedies, no matter how much we hurt.

They might have had a shot if every SS member who attempted to drag them out of their homes had reason to fear he'd get a bullet in his head for his efforts.
