WHOA!!!
Bombs are banned, yet someone planted bombs?
What happens when you ban guns?
You take them out of the hands of law abiding citizens, and ensure only criminals and government has them.. In some cases, the two are the same.....
Maybe, just maybe , YOU will have the courage to state exactly who is trying to ban guns....no other gun person has been able to do that yet......gee, it's starting to draw attention to the fact that pro-gunners are LYING!
High Fructose Corn Syrup
Cars that weigh over 500 pounds and go over 25mph
Coal Plants
Nuclear Plants
Fish (too much mercury)
Cows (mad cow disease)
Anti-depresents (poisoning the water)
Salt for roadway ice control (bad for the environment)
Plastic Bags
Paper Bags
Alcohol (hey, it didn't work the second time, but maybe the second time will work)
How many mass homicides have we had EVER had by hammer, crow bar or baseball bat attack? How many people have walked into a movie theater or a shopping mall and shot the place up with a regular old bolt action hunting rifle? There's absolutely no reason for anyone outside of law enforcement or the military to own semi automatic weapons with a large capacity magazine. If someone attacks with a crow bar, or even a regular old rifle that has to be constantly reloaded, there's a decent chance that someone will be able to wrestle them down before they can kill an entire room of people. Some may die, but it's not going to be mass carnage. When you have the ability to mow down anyone in your way with rapid, constant fire, it becomes impossible to intervene. Banning assault weapons isn't going to stop all gun violence, but it should make a dent in the mass killings that we're seeing--we've had FOUR in this country during 2012. I'm sick of it. Sorry, but your argument is ridiculous. We need to do more, and we need to address other problems like glamorizing violence and addressing mental health issues, but this is a start.
