Maybe because you can walk across the street to Maryland and get a gun or drive across the river to Virginia and get one?

You can't just go buy a gun in any Virginia or MD gun store. You have to be a Virginia or MD resident (with multiple forms of ID), and you have to get a background check.

You people are clueless.

"Progressive" and "liberal" are two different things. Seattle is very progressive but not as liberal as some would have you think.

As for killing fascists, that refers to "left wing pansies" like this:Abraham Lincoln Brigade - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I moved to NH from Mass for several reasons; it is much safer and exercising my right to bear arms is much easier.

I hear gun shots all the time, people playing in their backyards and whatnot. Doesn't bother me one bit.

I don't see you all making those types of distinctions when you compare crime in America to crime in completely different countries.
Comparing a state to a city is as useful as comparing a state to a country. Pretty absurd.

Cool.

So stop doing it.

The VAST majority of these comparisons are done by anti-gunners. Herp derp, what about Denmark?

DC and Vermont have both around 650,000 people. NH has double that amount... And crime is higher right? Nope.

Comparing a country to another country is fair game, comparing a country to a city makes no sense.

HA. Well that's convenient for you isn't it?

Compare VT to MD then.

Actually you can't. At least not from a licensed gun dealer. Handguns require a mandatory waiting period in MD and can not be sold across state lines without a transfer between FFL holders. Long guns are different and although the process is supposed to be the same, I go to PA to buy any long guns (primarily shotguns) which I wish to buy because the very few times I have bought shotguns in MD the process has been dragged out, onerous and not worth my time. The time issue includes the fact that the drive to the PA gunshop I deal with is 6 hours one way.
