Get real. Ignorant thread.

Exactly. Dick's is just getting their stores off the gun-grabbers radar screen until after the Christmas buying season. There is nothing worse for business than a bunch of liberal psychos harrassiing your children as they are shopping for their first Daisy "Red Ryder" BB gun. They don't know the difference between a BB gun and an AR-15.

More than likely the threat of a ban is doing it.

there are always horders that will boost sales. The more talk of baning the more these people will buy. its not a lot of people its a few who are buying in hopes of selling later at a high profit. Its a lot of gun dealers who will hit the next gun show and instead of selling for 650 they will sell for 1200. I saw it before.

I could not find an AR-15 for less than $1000 at the last gunshow I attended. I ended up getting an MP5 22LR with a colapsable stock for under $500. It is cheaper to shoot anyway.

I can assure you the crowd I saw in my local gun store was not a bunch of dealers. This same scene is playing out all across the country. These people will not be freely handing them over to you gun grabbers either.

I prefer an AK 47 or 74 to an AR 15. Just because they look scary doesn't mean they should be banned.

I am not advocating banning them. I am saying that we may have to give on some regulation as to how we take and hold ownership.
