100 people died in car wrecks today. At least half were alcohol related.

I guess it's time to ban the wheel and booze.

And the people who caused those accidents (assuming they survived) will get their right to drive taken away and will face criminal charges, and if found guilty, will lose their freedom.

What's your point?

And the people guilty of shooting deaths will get their right to keep and bear arms taken away and face criminal charges. What's your point?

It appears that the gun grabbers think they are going to get guns banned by the number of posts they start on this forum. They have gone bat a$$ crazy the last few days.

There are strict laws against gun crimes also. But they still sell cars....

Tomorrow there will probably be another story just like this one. And if there is, I will be sure to post about it.

It happened before Newton and it will continue to happen until we as a supposedly civilized society can come up with some sort of common sense solution.

Try to keep up.
Now, take into consideration the size of our population, also compare to the many other occurrences of wrongful death by many other means. Unless you were born yesterday, you would realize that people are dying all the time for many different reasons both natural and unnatural, violent and non-violent and considering the occurrence of this in relation to our population size, these occurrences of firearm related deaths are often less than a 1/4 of one percent of the population. While unfortunate, even remotely suggesting there is some epidemic going on is dishonest.

will they? all to often people who have been convicted many times of drunk driving are still able to legally drive because they plead to lesser charges, or they submit to certain restrictions put on them, which they then violate. and if they lose their freedom, it is for a very short time, usually less than 6 months unless they are a habitual offender, and then they might get 2 years, released after 8 months for good behavior.

in the end as i said even if you take away EVERY gun in the world, you wont end mass murders, and those who are willing to break the laws, and want to kill lots of people will find a way to do so.

Many of the drunk drivers who end up killing people have often already been arrested for such in the past.

I am so disgusted by what I have seen over these last days.

So little concern over the loss of those babies and those heroic teachers and for the two people who died in Oregon.

It's all about MY, MY, MY - "don't touch my guns!" - "don't take away my right to own weapons of mass destruction!" - MY, MY, MY!

It seriously makes me ill.
