There is an old saying that you shouldn't bring a knife to a gun fight, well that you should bring a pistol or a rifle fight. So, unless the govs are going to also allow teachers to wear body armor and keep an M4 in the class room, I can see more teachers getting killed than assailants. And if not by the AR toting mass murderer, then by the police who aren't going to have the slightest idea of who is the guardian angel teacher and who is the crazed gunman, not that they couldn't be both.
The number of excuses that liberals have to not protect children and keep another tragedy like Sandy Hook from occuring is simply astounding.

Liberals are just blinded by their misguided ideology.

According to liberals, yes.

What else can you expect from the party that advocates for destroying innocent human life?

Every abortion is a tragedy and no child should die alone.

You guys really are a hoot !!! Why don't we just start training first graders how to use a gun and give them weapons you know just in case the teacher goes crazy and tries to kill them

In other words, you support more Adam Lanza or Klebold/Harris style attacks on our schools.

Weren't you the one who said that kindergarden and preschool teachers having the means to defend their students and themselves was a bad idea?

Perhaps you might care to point out the fallacies in my argument. Frankly if you want to protect children you would put armed and trained school security officers in every school, but you sure as hell wouldn't want to pay for it, taxes being theft and all. You would rather throw some semi-armed untrained civilian to the wolves with having to pay a dime.

Wouldn't having one dead man named Adam Lanza be preferable to the actual outcome of this tragedy?
You just lost all credibility in your anti-abortion campaign. You are NOT pro-life. You are pro-death when it suits your purposes.

A man killed little kids. And the response from the pro-lifers is again to use a gun to solve the problem. Incredible. Either all life is sacred or its not. You don't get to pick and choose and you don't get to play God. You might want to save the "abortion stops a beating heart" lectures. The hypocrisy is overwhelming.

Because teachers are so much more unstable than the millions of other legal concealed carry permit holders?

The GOP has officially run out of ideas. Their solutions to problems is usually always solved by adding more of the problem. An example would be gun violence. Their idea to stopping gun violence is more guns. Another example would be the deficit. Their solution to reducing the deficit is more tax cuts. If they were advising alcoholics on how to stop drinking they would recommend a few extra beers.

If only Adam's first victim had owned a gun, maybe this attack could have been prevented.
