It's been my experience that those who have lived sheltered lives tend to be for gun control.

Nope, statistics show that gun control liberals are 'in general' more educated and more well traveled than conservatives. So, maybe they're for gun control because they HAVEN'T lived sheltered lives, like many pro gun yahoos.

As for fighting the British, I think history shows the liberals would do a pretty good job there too.

Woodrow Wilson, and WW1
FDR, and WW2
Truman, and WW@ & Korean War
Obama, and McCain & Romney.

Why do conservatives start silly threads that are based on stuff they've just made up about liberals?

If today's conservatives could be transported back to the Revolution, they'd support the British.

In another thread someone suggested that homeless people are liberal.

Living in a shelter does not mean living a sheltered life. You guys are so concrete

They would report citizen uprisings against the Queen, that's what they would do.
And then call for a gun ban to "protect the citizens".

Historically the Tories were the conservatives, because they wanted to conserve the status quo. Though leave it to a conservative not to know the definition of the word conservative.

Because city data let them. And I think it's to show the rest of us how silly they are.

No they wouldn't. England was raising the tax. Conservatives are against higher taxes.
Have you forgotten your history here ?

They would pay the tea tax since they love to pay taxes. But take away their EBT parchment and there'd be a whole mess of trouble.
