Actually, I'm pretty upset that 20 little children died and this is how a certain segment of the population reacts. They are not even all buried yet.
Hmmm, interesting point, considering that the first reaction the anti-gun crowd had was to call for bans on weapons, magazines, and ammo. Most of that started less than an hour after the story hit the news.
Who is more of an idiot, the ones who immediately politicized a tragedy in order to push through the agenda that they've been rabidly pursuing for the last few decades, or the ones who decided to stock up on perfectly legal supplies just in case the left-wing anti-gun crowd manages to push through a ban?
Personally, if there's a storm coming, I stock up on the supplies I might need. Doesn't matter if it's bread, milk, and eggs or if it's ammo, either way preparedness is a good idea.
Stocking up when prices skyrocket is stupid. Wait till there is a sale or prices drop.
Pre Obama 2008 a price of white box Winchester 9mm box of 50 was around $7 or $8 dollars. Post Obama 2008 the box couldn't even be had for a while, then it settled to around $13 a box as of last Thursday. Now.....not to be had again. Prices aren't going back to pre 2008 (if ever again at all) until Obama is out of office.

Princes are going up because all the paranoid idiots are buying up the supplies. Supply + Demand = price. It's all speculation. Stocking up on ammo now is like stocking up on water in anticipation of 12/21.

Couldn't find any this last Monday. Had to buy another brand at $18 a box.
They'll feel silly when the prices drop right after Christmas for the after Christmas sale
Do you have any proof that Wal-mart elevated its price on ammo to take advantage of this run on the shelves? Or is this you postulating once again without any proof?

Wouldn't be a buying craze if the Democrats had not promised to ban guns and whatever else they will try to. If the government said it was going to ban cigarettes I'd be buying as many cartons of cigs as I can.
Are they idiots because they're buying up all the ammo, or are they idiots for shopping in Wal-Mart in the first place?
Kind of an updated redneck version of "what came first, the chicken or the egg."
