Well I hope the school at least run a background check on this random guy. It's about safety right? Can't just let a random person hang around school grounds and pretend to be a security guard.
Plus this dude is unarmed! What is that going to do? And if he was armed, the school better know who the hell he is because he is on school ground with tons of children.
I seriously doubt that a person in a military uniform standing outside the doors to their school made the children feel safer. My guess is it scared the crap out of most of them.
Maybe that is his intention. To set himself up as a target so the assailant would have to primarily focus on him before all else. Therefore if he was attacked first, he would 'possibly' buy time for school officials to make safety arrangements for the kids and 9-11 calls to authorities to get to the scene quicker.
So a guy giving children assurance that they can come to school and be safe, a former marine who fights for our freedoms, is now an idiot and someone who is actually terrorizing the children. You people are off your rockers. Do you hate all military or just former marines??

It's sickening isn't it?
