So now that the Republicans in the House can't even agree with each other:
Will Boehner go back to Obama tomorrow with his tail between his legs?
Will he resign his "leadership" position and let someone else try to bring order to the divided House?
Will Republicans withdraw even deeper into their echo chamber and declare victory, even as taxes are about to go up on everyone?
Will the House close for the Holidays and accept the Fiscal Cliff they manufactured last year when they forced the debt ceiling crisis?
Plan A: The supercommittee that was supposed to come up with the solution. Everyone who had any political sense knew it was designed to fail
Plan B: Elect Romney President and take control of the Senate. Ooops.
Plan C: Pretend to negotiate in good faith with the president, somehow hoping he would cave into their demands despite being reelected as president.
Plan D (where we are today): Stage a vote for a bill they knew had 0.00% chance of passing the Senate and putting Republicans on record increasing taxes.

There's a difference between compromise and capitulation. This "All or Nothing" mindset is destroying the Republican Party.
Two things from Boehner's press conference today:
He's abdicated his role in the negotiations to Obama and the Senate. The House of Representatives is no longer capable of presenting solutions or even acting somewhat coherently. They are only capable of reacting, not leading. Furthermore recessing through next Thursday sends the wrong message to Americans. Risking a double dip recession, the GOP decides to walk off the field.

Yes.
Late Jan, 250k and below will get 2012 tax rates back, with few if any spending cuts in the bill. 1 or 2 reduced paychecks for tens of millions = A Bad idea by Cantor & the TP to have a hissy fit 12/20.
The 12/20 actions which are NOT Jb's fault but are the wing nut's fault, should be videotaped, put in a box with a bow, for they just gave the WH a giant gift. A less onerous bill next month than the WH latest proposal.
Especially when folks see sequestration also occuring now, will deeply affect Red states already doing poorly. Tn is expected to be 5th worse affected by it.

Hopefully some members on this forum will see that and change their tune. It'd be nice to have a debate in these forums without it devolving into name calling by the third post.
