Then why does he insist on taxpayer funding of Planned Parenthood? Why hasn't he started an initiative to reduce inner city gang violence? Why does he permit santcuary cities that harbor violent felons?

Why is it Obama's job to return America to pre-1950's levels of social awareness? Planned Parenthood and its funding paradigm are how old? How long has Obama been in office??? Sanctuary Cities... ... Conservatives never want their own politicians to do the dirty work of turning America into a Third World backwater. They sit out elections and when a Democrat gets in by default they flilibuster and engage in hostage taking so that the deterioration of quality of life goes on Democrat administrations. Do your own dirty work for a change. Why didn't Bush defund Planned Parenthood? That would at least make sense. Why should a Democrat defend PPH???? Please explain that. BTW the portion of PPH revenue that so upsets those with a literal interpretation of "life" is not taken from taxpayers.
Actually it's the function of the government to protect our rights. The NRA is a lobbying machine for gun manufacturers and protect their right to make money.
Exactly. It is similar to what Republican candidates do especially in the South. Nixon championed the tactic. Get the low and middle class whites to think minorities are taking something from them. So these whites vote against their own self interests.
Similarly, the NRA and right wing media get these folks to think Obama is going to take their guns. Every time this is promoted, there is a run on buying up guns and ammo. Who benefits? Gun makers and retailers. Gun makers stocks jumped 7% on Tuesday.
So why do you need a gun? To go up against the political elite? Good luck with that. What gun control exists is the best friend of people like yourself, just saying.
