Lol, conservative radio hosts feels threatened by the single digit percent market share liberals can barely keep out of bankruptcy??? So they mug a liberal while she's walking her dog? I needed a good laugh!

Hopefully the folks on the left will realize that there are lefty looneys that are just as far off from reality as Rush. Rush just happens to be entertaining enough in the process (Howard Stern shockjock antics) to keep the ratings machine rolling.

A non-story inasmuch as Ms. Rhodes made no such claim, and someone else made an erroneous conjecture!

And of course all the right-wing radio hosts jumped on the non-story and made it into one, which serves their purpose of painting "the liberals" as this group of hateful conspiracy theorists, or something... It's always "them," not "him" or "her."

Ah, but the somebody else was her colleague. And his lies (aka "erroneous conjecture") inspired a deluge of hatred from the lunatic left.

Here's what he said on the air:

Jon Elliott was extremely agitated when he reported on the incident. He opened his show by saying “it is with sadness that tonight I inform you that my Air America colleague Randi Rhodes was assaulted last night while walking her dog near her New York City home.â€

Pointing out that Rhodes was wearing a jogging suit and displayed no purse or jewelry, Elliott speculated that “this does not appear to me to be a standard grab the money and run mugging.â€

“Is this an attempt by the right wing hate machine to silence one of our own,†he asked. “Are we threatening them. Are they afraid that we’re winning. Are they trying to silence intimidate us.â€

No, wait. Left-wing hatred is a non-story. I keep forgetting that.

Where's the deluge? I want to be drenched in it. It's a non-story because nobody's heard of the guy.

Half of the stories we read, left or right, are frankly non-stories.

But, I suppose they have some value, if only to amuse!

You're pruned and blue-lipped as it is.
