you didn't answer the question and forgot to mention the bronze and silver stars. again when you earn some of your nations highest awards for service to your country you can protest anyway you see fit. have you served in combat?
This reminds me of the 2004 election year, when right-wingers tried to diminish Kerry's service record in Vietnam. Three purple hearts, a bronze star, and a silver star--and they attacked him for it.
