However, don't think the same trick they pulled with the 16th amendment will work this time. If we had the speed of communication back then that we have today, it would have never gotten through.

If that is too much for you, then your only option is a coup. God have mercy on you if you attempt that, because many of us sure as hell won't.
See the gun nut in his fantasy world on full display.

He plods around the internet making threats against people who couldn't care less about his existence. He prepares his whole life and puts all his mental energy into protecting himself from some government takeover of his crappy house in Southern Ohio stockpiled with guns and ammo.

Go back and watch Red Dawn again.

So, I am a "gun nut" because I point out that if you wish to change the laws, you must follow a proper process that exists within our system to which it was designed, and if you disregard those processes and "force" your position on the people, that there will be consequences?

The 2nd amendment exists to protect us from people like you. People who would disregard our system and impose their will with no respect to the liberty of the people within.

I am not speaking with bravado, or mouthing off like some pubescent on the internet. I am pointing out the logical progression of disregarding the protections designed within our system and the liberty of the people.

If you disregard them, if you fail to properly attend to the legal process of achieving your goals, then you are an invader, an enemy of this country, a traitor and an aggressor on liberty.

I have no problems other than an argument of reason with you seeking the proper process to obtain your goals within our government. I only point out that to achieve such an amendment is extremely unlikely at this time due to the checks and balances of our system and the requirements of such a measure.

If you disregard it, then you are disregarding our laws, our principals, and our protections. You will have to do such violently as few will allow such a disregard without resistance. That is, you would have to make a coup on our country to achieve your goals outside of our systems processes.

So tell me, what do you think the people of this country will do if you disregard their system of protection, their rights, and their liberty to serve your goals?

It seems some people don't know the difference between the U.S Constitution and the state of Virginia Constitution

No, there are younger people that respect the Constitution. You just do not happen to be one of them.
