Now that the GOP has proven itself to be non viable option for serious voters in real elections, it is free to let its freak flag fly and engage in nutty schemes and political fantasies. What brand of ridiculousness do you think it will come up with next?

They'll move their headquarters to China where the help is cheap.

I have one thread wishing my fellow Democrats a merry Christmas. I have another speculating on the future of the GOP. I fail to see how either of these involves circles or jerks.

Willful ignorance. I mean come on. If you're going to start a thread like this, at least own up to it. Don't talk about freak flags and then feign innocence. You're a Democrat and want to gloat over the sad state of the Republican party. That's fine. But don't turn around and pretend your intention was serious inquiry into the future of the conservative movement. You started a conversational space to let liberals crack jokes about how irrelevant and stupid conservatives are, not a legitimate discussion.

I will add also that not only is the work cheap but the people are very compliant and do as they are told....otherwise the GOP will sic their business partners, the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) on the masses.

The real conservatives left the GOP a generation ago. What you've got left are a bunch of Neo-cons. My belief this started when Bush the first announced on TV "we have a new world order" in which his butt was promptly dispatched.

The GOP has about as much to do with seriousness as Barney Fife has to do with law enforcement. I think I've set an appropriate tone for a discussion about the future of the GOP in the first post. The party is pretty much a farce at this point, with its' whacky hats and infotainers and all.
